About DAMARK
A cultural and charitable organization built on a simple belief: communities grow when knowledge, art, and care are shared.
Our story
DAMARK began with a group of people who shared a heritage and a conviction — that the community which raised them deserved to be invested in. What started as informal support for a handful of students has grown into an organization with four enduring commitments.
Today we award scholarships, develop young artists, fund medical research, and mentor women leaders. The forms differ; the purpose does not: to pass forward what was once given to us.
We are a volunteer-driven organization. Every program is shaped by the people it serves, and every dollar is directed with care and accountability.
What we stand for
Generosity with accountability
We give openly and report honestly. Donors and communities deserve to know exactly what their support achieves.
Culture as a living thing
Heritage survives by being practiced. We fund the artists, teachers, and gatherings that keep it alive.
Opportunity over circumstance
Talent is everywhere; opportunity is not. Our job is to close that gap for students, artists, researchers, and women leaders.
Community first
Programs are built with the people they serve, not for them. We listen before we fund.

A producer of Miss Universe Albania and Kosovo and National Director at the Miss Universe Organisation, he has spent years staging Albanian heritage for international audiences — including the ethnographic evening at Cipriani Wall Street in February 2026 that brought New York's Albanian community together through the traditional dress of every region.
